Glycolic Acid is one of the most popular natural skin peeling treatments to restore a youthful glow while firming and toning the skin. Glycolic produces minimal visible peeling, which is why it is often called the “lunchtime peel”. We offer a range of glycolic acid peel strengths suitable for the first-timer up to the professional. Silva MD is an authorized provider of ZO (Zein Obagi MD) products that include a medical grade stimulator peel.
Glycolic acid peels are recommended to shrink pores and improve the overall look of skin on your face and neck. Made up of a derivative of sugar cane, glycolic acid peels are a medium-grade form of chemical peel, meaning that they target the epidermis of your skin rather than penetrating down to the deeper layers.
Salicylic Acid Peel
Visibly reduce pores, acne, and dark spots
Salicylic acid chemical peels work to reduce bacteria, inflammation, and excessive sebum from deep within the pore that can otherwise proliferate and create a rough, blotchy appearance. The multifaceted salicylic chemical peel gently addresses many of the systemic root causes of acne blemishes. Aside from Salicylic Acid’s appetite for acne, its function as an anti-fungal agent can also provide substantial relief to those suffering from chronic yeast overgrowth (Candida). Salicylic acid peels also provide marked improvements in skin tone, texture, and clarity.

Perfect 10 Intermediate Peel is recommended for Fitzpatrick I (pale), II (fair), III (darker white skin) and for sensitive, normal, and tolerant skin. Perfect 10 Universal Peel is for all skin types including Fitzpatrick IV (light brown skin), V (brown skin], VI (dark brown or black skin) and ideal for sensitive skin. This treatment is integrated with all trans retinol complex, propriety acid blend, and antioxidants. These advanced peels improve dull, uneven skin tone and texture, fine lines, large pores, and discoloration. Dr. Melinda Silva has experience treating darker and ethnic skin types.
